Veterans and their families are demanding answers about the ongoing problems of Legionnaire’s Disease at the Illinois Veterans Home in Quincy.
It’s the third straight year of reported cases of the water-borne illness, despite a complete overhaul of the water system at the home. 12 residents died at the facility two years ago, and one death this year has been linked in part to the illness.
Families of residents say no one is being held accountable and they are demanding more action.
