U.S. Senator Tammy Duckworth is signing on to legislation to decriminalize marijuana at the federal level.
The bill would remove pot from the list of federal controlled substances and leave it up to states to decide whether it would be legal or illegal.
The measure would still give the feds the right to combat trafficking of the drug from states where it is legal to states where it is outlawed… as well as to regulate the marketing of marijuana to make sure ads don’t target minors.
