A hearing is set for next Friday in a lawsuit brought by State Senator Sam McCann against Senate GOP leader Bill Brady.
McCann says Brady is illegally withholding staff services that are provided to other Senate Republicans.
Brady contends that McCann has effectively left the Republican caucus because he has announced plans to form a third party to run for governor this fall.
