It could be the start of a new round of lottery fever. The Powerball jackpot has climbed to a top prize of $215 million this weekend.
That would equal a lump sum payout of $127 million before taxes. The next Powerball drawing is Saturday night.
Meanwhile, Friday night’s Mega Millions jackpot is also edging upwards, and currently stands at $143 million to a single winner.
