The City of Springfield will offer a hazardous household waste collection next month but you have to sign up in advance to take advantage of it.
City residents will need to obtain a voucher identifying the types of waste they plan to drop off and what time they want to do it during the event on Saturday, June 2, from 8:00AM to 3:00PM at the State Fairgrounds.
The voucher system is intended to avoid long lines at the event.
