The Illinois State Fair is turning to the state’s Bicentennial celebration as the inspiration for this year’s fair theme. Both the Springfield and DuQuoin fairs will use the theme “Celebrate Illinois: 200 Years of Amazing!”
Applications are also now being accepted for participation in the fair’s Twilight Parade in Springfield, which will be held on the opening night of the fair, Thursday, August 9th .
