Hy-Vee’s locations around the Midwest, including Springfield, have launched the Great American Milk Drive. When you shop at Hy-Vee, you’ll be asked if you want to donate $2 for a half-gallon of milk… or $4 for a full gallon.
At the end of the March, all those donations will be used to buy fresh milk from area suppliers and donate them to local food banks.
Last year, donations over just a two-week period totaled 120,000 gallons of milk.
