
A local lawmaker says it will be critical for the state to “over-communicate” with employees in the Capitol Complex about the possible presence of the bacteria that causes Legionnaires Disease.
Representative Sara Wojcicki Jimenez says workers need as much information as possible so they know exactly what they’re dealing with.
It will be nearly two weeks before final test results are in, but state officials say even if the bacteria is present, you won’t contract it from normal activities like drinking water or hand-washing in the 14 buildings of the Capitol Complex.
