That long-awaited roundabout at Iles Avenue and Archer Elevator Road will open to the public next week.
City officials say it will improve traffic flow and safety. But there are some rules to remember for navigating the roundabout.
You have to wait until there’s an opening in traffic to enter it… and don’t stop to let other vehicles in. They also have to wait until you get past them.
Also, don’t pull over for emergency vehicles in the roundabout… instead, exit the roundabout and then pull over. The formal opening is set for Monday at noon.
