Illinois is facing new cases of severe bleeding linked to synthetic cannabinoids or fake pot.
The new cases are coming primarily from Winnebago County in Northern Illinois.
Since March, more than 160 people have developed serious problems with bleeding linked to their use of the drug, sold under names like K2 or spice.
Four deaths have been linked to the tainted product… which may have been laced with a chemical found in rat poison.
