Illinois politics is in the toilet… literally. Governor Bruce Rauner’s campaign is now setting up toilets outside events being held by Rauner’s Democratic opponent, J.B. Pritzker.
The stunt is intended to remind voters about Pritzker’s actions in dealing with a property he purchased on Chicago’s Gold Coast… disconnecting the toilets to have the property declared “uninhabitable,” leading to a significant reduction in property taxes on the structure.
The Rauner camp says you can expect to see more toilets at more Pritzker events in the weeks to come.
