Janus V. AFSCME Ruling to Come Down Wednesday

Wednesday will be the day we finally learn the fate of “fair share” fees for public sector workers in Illinois and around the country. That will be the last day of the current U.S. Supreme Court term, and all remaining decisions will be handed down, including the ruling in Janus V. AFSCME.

Plaintiff Mark Janus and supporters, including Governor Bruce Rauner, are hoping the High Court strikes down laws that require workers in union jobs to pay something to the union to cover the cost of representation… even if that worker doesn’t wish to join the union.

Depend on News/Talk 94.7 and 970 WMAY for complete coverage of the ruling and reaction to it.
