AFSCME Continues to Await Ruling in Janus Case

Once again, public sector unions in Illinois and around the country are waiting for a U.S. Supreme Court decision with significant ramifications for their future.

The High Court still has not released its long-awaited decision in Janus vs. AFSCME… over whether union employees can be required to pay “fair share” fees to the union as a condition of employment. That ruling is expected before the end of this month… and could come down as soon as this Thursday.
