House Speaker Mike Madigan says he will hire a human resources director for his legislative staff in an effort to put a stop to multiple allegations of sexual harassment and hostile work environments.
Madigan and his newly-named chief of staff Jessica Basham also say they will hire an equal employment opportunity officer and will make other changes… including conducting performance reviews for all directors and supervisors, and asking staffers for input on changes to personnel policies and manuals.
