IHOP is now IHOb!
IHOP created a lot of chatter on social media last week when that announced that after 60 years of being IHOP, that on June 11, they would change their name to IHOb. Everyone and their uncle took to social media to take a stab at what the lower case ‘b’ or upside down p would stand for. I even got swept up in the hoopla and threw my vote into the ring. I thought it stood for ‘brews’ and that could go both ways: coffee or beer! I found out today, just like you that the ‘b’ stands for ‘burgers’. So, now I will anticipate International Hamburgers on the menu next time I go to IHOb. I also found out that it’s only a temporary change and it’s only a marketing campaign. IHOP wants to be known as a place to get breakfast, lunch and dinner.
