Springfield police are investigating a home invasion in the Northgate subdivision. Residents of a home in the 2900 block of Sherborn heard noises coming from their basement.
When they investigated, they found a white male in the basement. One of the residents struggled with the man, but he broke free and fled on foot.
He’s described as white, between 20 and 40 years of age, wearing dark clothing. If you have information, contact Springfield police or Crimestoppers.
