And just like that… Roseanne has been canceled.
ABC has officially announced that it has ended the 90’s reboot after the series’ leading lady, Roseanne Barr published racist tweets about Valerie Jarrett, a senior advisor to former President Barack Obama’s administration.
Barr has since apologized for the tweets and says she’ll be stepping away from the social media platform.
I apologize to Valerie Jarrett and to all Americans. I am truly sorry for making a bad joke about her politics and her looks. I should have known better. Forgive me-my joke was in bad taste.

‘Roseanne’ returned to prime time back in March on ABC-TV. No word if another network or streaming service will pick up the series.
