After earlier criticizing members of his own Republican party for the recent defeat of a proposed federal farm bill, Congressman Rodney Davis is now turning the blame on Democrats.
Appearing live on WMAY’s Ray Lytle Morning Show, Davis said Democratic leaders in the House didn’t want to see passage of a bipartisan bill that could be viewed as a victory for the GOP or President Trump.
Davis acknowledges his own party engaged in similar partisanship during the Obama administration, and says it’s time for Congress to start putting policy ahead of politics.
