Bomb Threat Interrupts School Day at Pleasant Plains High

Yet another area school district has been targeted by a hoax bomb threat. A note in a restroom at Pleasant Plains High School Friday led to the evacuation of students to a nearby church. Parents were allowed to pick up their kids early.

The incident is similar to fake threats that have affected other Sangamon County communities in recent days, including Williamsville and Chatham. Friday’s incident came as students were supposed to be taking finals at Pleasant Plains High… it wasn’t immediately known how the district would deal with the interrupted test schedule.
