There’s still no official cause for a deadly fire in a Springfield high-rise last week, but Fire Chief Allen Reyne says it appears to be accidental.
However, Reyne says additional analysis of the fire scene will be conducted in an effort to pinpoint exactly how the fire started.
74-year-old Judith Gharebaghi died of carbon monoxide poisoning from the toxic smoke after that fire broke out last Friday in her 12th -story apartment at Sangamon Towers.
