Dubois Elementary School Chosen to Take Part in STEM Fusion Curriculum

Springfield’s Dubois Elementary School is one of 25 around the state chosen to take part in a three-year STEM Fusion curriculum in science, math and technology education.

The program, linked to the Illinois Bicentennial, was designed by the state Math and Science Academy, and is intended to help students in grades four through eight pursue eventual careers in STEM fields.

Governor Bruce Rauner visited Dubois Tuesday to announce the selection. Garrison School in Jacksonville was also chosen to participate.
