A former Democratic lawmaker who became an ally of Republican Governor Bruce Rauner has now landed a $70,000-a-year appointment to Chicago’s wastewater treatment board.
Ken Dunkin was appointed by Rauner to that seat on the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District board.
Dunkin lost his seat in the Illinois House after he was targeted in the 2016 Democratic primary for siding with Rauner over House Speaker Mike Madigan.
