Congressman Rodney Davis is expressing disappointment over the failure of the proposed federal farm bill.
Davis says it’s wrong for conservative Republicans to block passage of the bill in a dispute over separate legislation on immigration policy.
But Davis’s Democratic challenger, Betsy Dirksen Londrigan, says Davis is to blame for failing to create a true bipartisan farm bill that could have withstood the challenge from conservatives.
