A top Democrat is calling on Governor Bruce Rauner to help push the Equal Rights Amendment over the finish line. Rauner said this week that he supports equal rights for all, but didn’t explicitly endorse the proposed amendment to the U.S. Constitution.

An Illinois House committee will hold a hearing on the proposed amendment next week.
