The work of Illinois’s most famous architect is now being highlighted on a new state tourism initiative… the Frank Lloyd Wright Trail.
The state is encouraging visitors to conduct a self-guided tour of 13 Wright-designed properties around the state… including the Dana-Thomas House in Springfield.
Other buildings on the tour include the Rookery on LaSalle Street in Chicago… the Robie House on the University of Chicago campus… and Wright’s own private residence in Oak Park.
