Work continues on a bill that would allow adult children to petition for visitation with an elderly parent… if their access to the parent is being blocked by a sibling or other caregiver.
The bill from Representative Sara Wojcicki Jimenez lays out several criteria the courts can consider… especially the best interest of the elderly person.
The bill passed the House last month and is now pending in the state Senate.
