J.B. Pritzker is touting his endorsement by the largest state employees union during a stop in Springfield.
The Democratic nominee for governor picked up AFSCME’s endorsement just before his stop at the Plumbers and Steamfitters Union Hall in Springfield Friday.
He says he’s proud to have the backing of AFSCME… and says state workers deserve a governor who will bargain with them fairly. Pritzker says Governor Bruce Rauner clearly doesn’t care about the thousands of workers who provide state government services.
