Illinois is getting a huge donation of Vitamin K tablets to help people with the long and costly treatment for severe bleeding linked to tainted synthetic cannabis.
Many patients who used the poisonous fake weed will require months of treatment with Vitamin K to restore the blood’s normal clotting function… a treatment that could cost thousands of dollars.
Now the charitable arm of Valeant Pharmaceuticals is donating 800-thousand doses of the drug. More than 150 people are being treated for the effects of the fake weed… and three people have died.
