Drones are being deployed to assist in the search for a man who has been missing since going into the Sangamon River while kayaking Saturday night.
Dozens of first responders and volunteers have been searching in the water and along the shore for Shane Shomidie.
Family members say he was kayaking with his girlfriend and another couple when he went into the water, and hasn’t been seen since.
