Former Congressman Aaron Schock says he’s confident the courts will serve as a check on what he calls an “out-of-control” prosecution against him.
Schock attended arguments before a federal appeals court as his lawyers are seeking to have the case against him dismissed.
Schock says prosecutors were trying to find anything to prosecute him… and when they failed to find a crime, Schock says the prosecution tried to create them.
Prosecutors contend Schock broke multiple laws with his lavish spending of both government and political funds.
