Davis’s Individual Tax Cut Bill to Get Vote Later This Year

Congressman Rodney Davis’s bill to make individual tax cuts permanent will get a vote later this year. That pledge is coming from U.S. House Speaker Paul Ryan.

The GOP tax plan last year gave permanent tax breaks to corporations, but individual reductions have an expiration date.

Ryan says “tax certainty” is necessary to sustain economic growth, so he says the House will bring up Davis’s bill sometime in 2018.
