Woman Arrested For Selling Synthetic Cannabis Out Of Springfield Store

A 71-year-old woman has been arrested for selling synthetic cannabis out of a Springfield store… but there is no immediate indication that the product she sold is linked to dozens of cases of severe and sometimes fatal bleeding around the state.

Letha Dean is the manager of Mystic Enchantments and allegedly sold $5,000 worth of the fake weed to an undercover agent. She was arrested at the store on West Lawrence, but federal prosecutors claim she was also involved in selling the drug at the store’s previous location on Clear Lake.

She’s the eighth person arrested in an investigation that dates back to at least last year.
