Springfield Mayor Jim Langfelder confirms he wants four more years.
Langfelder announced that he will definitely seek a second term in office in 2019. The mayor made the statement during a live appearance Thursday on WMAY.
The mayor says the city is on the upswing, with plenty of growth and opportunities ahead, and he wants to keep steering it in the proper direction. So far there are no other announced candidates for mayor next year.
