The group pushing for a new downtown park is releasing comments compiled from its website by people who support the park idea. The commenters are identified by first name only.
The comments released by the North Mansion Y Block Development Group include statements saying the park will be a lasting gift for all to enjoy… echoing comments made in a promotional video produced by the group.
Another commenter says people in Springfield need a place to relax and enjoy. The park project is in limbo after being tabled last week by the Springfield City Council.
