Congressman Rodney Davis is touting the benefits of the tax reform plan approved by Congress last year… and downplaying the impact of that plan and last week’s omnibus spending bill on the federal deficit.
Davis visited with workers at AT&T in Springfield Wednesday to hear their stories of what the tax plan meant to them in increased take-home pay and $1,000 bonuses that the company handed out to many employees.
Critics say the tax and spending bills will dramatically increase the deficit… but Davis says they are already creating economic growth that will boost tax revenues.
