It could be weeks before Springfield aldermen take a final vote on the proposed park on the North Mansion Y Block downtown. Mayor Jim Langfelder says there will need to be more discussion about the proposal for a privately-funded, water-themed park.
Langfelder says he’s getting mixed reaction to the proposal… but thinks aldermen haven’t yet made up their minds and will want more information before a final vote, which the mayor says now may not happen until May.
