State health officials are investigating four cases of severe bleeding that may be linked to the use of synthetic pot.
The four people, all in northeastern Illinois, have developed a condition that limits the ability of the blood to clot. All four admitted using the synthetic drug… which is known by names like “spice” or “K2.”
Health officials warn against using those drugs, noting that the health effects can be unpredictable and potentially life-threatening.
