State Senator Andy Manar is pledging to do what he can to help Southern Illinois University open a satellite law school in downtown Springfield… perhaps on the block north of the governor’s mansion that Mayor Jim Langfelder wants to turn into a park.
Manar says he agrees with Downtown Springfield, Inc. that the North Mansion Block needs more revenue-generating business and other institutions that will draw people downtown to spend time and money… and he says a park alone doesn’t cut it
