A new report in the closing days of the primary claims First Lady DianaRauner told a political gathering last week that if her husband,Governor Bruce Rauner, loses his re-election bid, the couple will moveto Italy.
That report comes from a website linked to political consultant Dan Proft, who is backing Rauner’s primary opponent Jeanne Ives.
But when asked about the report Monday, Governor Rauner did not deny it… instead telling reporters that he’s not going to lose.
