A historic season comes up just short for the Southeast Spartans.
After making its first trip to the state boys basketball tournament, Southeast finished up second in the state, losing to Chicago/Morgan Park in the Class 3A title game Saturday, 71-56.
It capped the best season in school history… and set the stage for big hopes next year, when all-stater Anthony Fairlee returns for another season.
