Springfield public school students who take part in any student walkouts Wednesday will most likely not face disciplinary action. Wednesday marks the one-month anniversary of the Florida school shootings… and demonstrations, including brief walkouts, are planned around the country in a call for more action to protect schools and students.
A statement from District 186 says the district respects the right of students to organize… but that students must work out guidelines with school administrators and must adhere to those guidelines.
