Primary election day is just a week away… and new poll numbers suggest J.B. Pritzker’s big-money campaign is paying off for him in the Democratic race for governor. That survey of more than 1,000 voters by Capitol Fax and We Ask America gives Pritzker a double-digit lead over his next closest competitors.
Pritzker gets 35-percent of the vote, compared to 16-percent for Chris Kennedy and 15-percent for Daniel Biss. In the crowded Democratic primary for attorney general, former governor Pat Quinn holds an eight-point lead over Senator Kwame Raoul. The poll has a margin of error of plus-or-minus three percent.
