
The Rauner administration now says it plans to tear down and rebuild some of the dormitories in order to deal with the ongoing outbreak of Legionnaires Disease at the Illinois Veterans Home in Quincy.
The director of Veterans Affairs says details are still being finalized but says the administration will deliver short- and long-term plans to lawmakers in the next few weeks.
But some lawmakers accuse the administration of failing to act with enough urgency to deal with the continuing crisis.
