J.B. Pritzker is pouring millions more of his own dollars into his hotly-contested race for the Democratic nomination for governor. Pritzker’s latest $7 million donation to his own campaign brings his total so far to $63 million.
Primary opponent Daniel Biss is blasting Pritzker and accusing him of trying to buy the Democratic nomination.
But Pritzker allies note that Biss has taken sizable donations from donors. They question whether Biss will be beholden to his backers… and say Pritzker won’t have to answer to anyone except the voters.
