A half-million dollars in federal funds is headed to Taylorville for infrastructure improvement. U.S. Senators Dick Durbin and Tammy Duckworth say the money will go toward upgrades to roads, the water system and the industrial park in Taylorville.
The senators say the money will create more than 300 local construction jobs… and say the improvements will attract more businesses to invest in Taylorville, potentially generating millions in economic activity.
