
Chicago’s Roman Catholic cardinal says if a politician is offering “thoughts and prayers” after a gun tragedy… and not taking any other action… they can keep those thoughts to themselves.
Cardinal Blase Cupich says it’s time for action to reduce gun violence on our streets and in our schools. Cupich is supporting legislation that would limit access to assault weapons and ban high-capacity magazines and bump stocks.
He says the Second Amendment doesn’t mean the safety of children should take second place.
