Executive Mansion Sets Reopening Date Following Renovation

There is now a target date for re-opening the Governor’s Mansion in Springfield after a multi-million dollar renovation.

First Lady Diana Rauner says the Mansion will reopen to the public on July 14. The renovation, which is funded entirely through private donations will make the Mansion livable again for future governors, and create a space for art and history exhibits for visitors.

It will be open to the public seven days a week and for the first time, will be ADA-accessible.
