A 19-year-old Christian County man is being held on one million dollars bond, accused of inflicting a head injury that left his one-month old daughter in critical condition.
The sheriff there says Darrel Sanders brought the infant in Taylorville Memorial Hospital Thursday morning… she was later transported to a hospital in St. Louis with critical injuries. The investigation indicates the girl sustained the injury at least four days before Sanders sought medical help.
He’s charged with aggravated battery to a child, a Class X felony.
