Democratic candidate Chris Kennedy had been having a good week… right up until he missed Wednesday night’s forum in Springfield.
Kennedy… who picked up key endorsements this week from the Chicago Tribune and Daily Herald newspapers… suffered a slipped disc during routine exercise.
Kennedy says his doctors advised him not to travel to Springfield for the Wednesday event. Kennedy hopes to resume a normal campaign schedule in a day or two.
