Candidates are touting endorsements with just over a month to go before the March primary. Governor Bruce Rauner has gotten the backing of the conservative editorial board at the Chicago Tribune over primary challenger Jeanne Ives.
The Trib says Rauner is the best choice to keep standing up to House Speaker Mike Madigan. Meanwhile, Ives is getting support and funding from the Susan B. Anthony List, a group that provides backing for female pro-life candidates.
